How Does the Intercultural Twinning Project Work?

Getting started is simple! Here’s what you can expect: 

  1. Reach Out: Contact the project coordinators to set up an appointment.
  2. Initial Meeting: Participate in a 30 to 60-minute session to learn about the project. During this meeting, you’ll have a friendly interview to help match you with a twin based on your needs, availability, interests, and location.
  3. First Meeting: The project coordinator will arrange your first meeting with your twin to ensure a smooth introduction and establish the partnership.
  4. Regular Contact: Plan to meet your twin once or twice a month and stay in touch via phone or video calls each week.
  5. Join Activities: Participate in various social and cultural activities organized by CSAI’s twinning program to meet other participants and enrich your experience.
  6. Ongoing Support: Your counsellor will follow up regularly during the first year to ensure everything is going well and to support your integration journey.
