Why support CSAI with your donation?
Our goal is to assist immigrants and refugees in their settlement and integration by offering creative, innovative programs that respect their cultural and linguistic backgrounds. We foster inclusive spaces for dialogue where everyone can thrive and actively engage in the host society.
Government funding does not cover all our activities. With your support, we can continue helping immigrants and refugees establish stable and fulfilling lives in Quebec.
Your contribution truly makes a difference!

So Every Child Can Grow Up Healthy
With grocery prices continuing to rise, access to healthy food remains a challenge for many households. Refugee families and asylum seekers are especially affected, as food insecurity represents a structural barrier in their daily lives.
Like many community organizations, the Centre social d’aide aux immigrants is strengthening its efforts to respond effectively to the community’s immediate needs.
Your contribution helps provide:
• Fresh fruit, snacks, and ingredients for preparing nutritious meals • Essential hygiene products such as shampoo, soap, and toothpaste • Sanitary products that support children’s daily well-being
Your support enables us to maintain essential services that directly address the needs of families and contribute to the well-being of the children we accompany.

Since February 2023, CSAI has operated a temporary shelter for refugee families at 5685 Rue Laurendeau—made possible by your generous donations.
🏠 This facility offers a secure and welcoming environment for approximately 21 days, giving families time to transition to permanent housing.
👉 By 2023, the shelter had hosted 158 individuals, including 48 children, representing 23 nationalities.
Excellence Scholarships for International Students
In October 2023, CSAI awarded 10 university scholarships of $1,000 each to outstanding international students.
These bursaries honor the memory of the victims of Iran Air Flight PS0752 (January 2020) and recognize the invaluable contributions of international students to Quebec society.
