Networking Day for Newcomers
On May 29, 2025, more than 450 Ukrainian nationals participated in “Réussir l’emploi 5,” a job fair organized by CSAI with the support of the Red Cross, BMO, and several partners.
Scholarships for International Students
In October 2023, CSAI awarded ten scholarships of $1,000 to international students, in tribute to the victims of the crash of flight PS752 in January 2020 in Iran, and to highlight their journeys and exceptional commitment.
Opening of the Maison Marie-Gérin-Lajoie (Temporary Housing by CSAI)
Since February 2023, CSAI’s Maison Marie-Gérin-Lajoie has welcomed 210 refugees, offering temporary housing, support for integration, and a vibrant community space.
Commitment to Local Immigration Committees
CSAI is actively engaged in coordinating the immigration committees of the Ville-Émard/Côte-Saint-Paul, Verdun, and Lachine neighborhoods. These committees bring together institutions and local organizations to make their neighborhoods inclusive and welcoming.
